OUR community

We're a diverse group of UVA students committed to understanding and influencing the strategies that shape the modern sports world. Officially founded in the spring of 2025, our club has grown rapidly in just a few semesters and is in constant search of new clients and new talent to service those clients. We bring together statisticians, economists, computer scientists, and more to derive value from data. We're not looking for students with a certain background or field of study - if you believe there's an advantage that can be found in the numbers and are determined to find that advantage, we want you.

Our goal is to give each member the skills and connections needed to produce original, insightful analytics work and build a foundation for meaningful careers in sports analytics. A comprehensive training program is required for new joiners but is open to everyone, and with every semester each student is given the opportunity to produce multiple deliverables that are presented to the club as well as any stakeholders.
